2. Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data needed to provide a seamless social habit-tracking experience:
- Account Data: Email address, username, display name, and your chosen avatar. If you sign in using Google or Apple, we receive your email and basic profile information from them.
- App Data: Your streaks, habits, cycle logs, personal notes, accumulated points, and your connections (friend list).
- Device & Notification Data: Device push notification tokens to send you reminders, nudges, and friend requests.
- Identifiers: We may collect device-specific identifiers (such as Advertising ID or IDFA). These are used strictly for internal analytics, subscription management via third-party providers (e.g., RevenueCat), and to measure the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data strictly to provide and improve the app's core functionalities. This includes synchronizing your streaks across devices, calculating your progress, and sending push notifications (such as "Nudges" from friends or cycle reminders).
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your data is processed using trusted service providers:
- Supabase: For database hosting and user authentication.
- Expo: For delivering push notifications.
- RevenueCat: For managing Pro subscriptions and verifying in-app purchases. RevenueCat may use device identifiers to link your subscription status across your devices.
We use device identifiers solely to improve our service and understand our user base. We do not share these identifiers with data brokers or use them to show you third-party advertisements within the App.
5. Data Security
Your data is protected using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We utilize secure row-level security (RLS) policies in our database to ensure that your private data is only accessible to you and the friends you choose to share your streaks with.
6. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have full control over your data. You can access or update your profile information directly within the app. If you wish to leave, you can use the "Delete My Account" feature in the Settings menu, which will permanently and irreversibly erase all your personal data, streaks, and connections from our servers.
