1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the DuoStreak application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (EULA). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. By creating an account and accessing user-generated content, you explicitly agree to these terms and our strict community guidelines.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features of the App, such as adding friends, joining public streaks, and interacting with others, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
3. Acceptable Use and Zero Tolerance Policy
DuoStreak is designed to be a safe, positive, and motivating community. We maintain a strictly zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to use the App to:
- Post, share, or transmit any content that is defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, illegal, or otherwise offensive.
- Harass, bully, threaten, abuse, or send repetitive unwanted messages or "Nudges" to other users.
- Create streaks or display names containing offensive, illicit, or inappropriate content.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or manipulate the App's servers, databases, or tracking mechanics.
4. User-Generated Content (UGC) Policy & Moderation
DuoStreak allows users to post comments, share streak updates, and interact in public feeds. To ensure a safe environment, we enforce the following UGC precautions:
- Filtering: We employ automated filtering mechanisms to proactively identify and block offensive language and objectionable content before it is displayed.
- Flagging Content: Users have access to an in-app reporting mechanism to easily flag and report any objectionable content or inappropriate posts.
- Blocking Users: Users can block abusive users at any time. Blocking a user will instantly remove all of their content from your feed and notify our moderation team of the abusive behavior.
- 24-Hour Moderation & Ejection: Our developer and moderation team reviews all flagged content and blocked user reports within 24 hours. If a user is found to be posting objectionable content or engaging in abusive behavior, the offending content will be permanently removed, and the abusive user will be immediately and permanently ejected (banned) from the DuoStreak platform.
5. Push Notifications
By using DuoStreak, you consent to receive push notifications regarding your streaks, friend requests, community interactions, and system updates. You can manage or disable these notifications at any time through your device's operating system settings.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
DuoStreak is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to keep our timers and streak calculations accurate, we do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for broken streaks due to connectivity issues, server downtime, or user error.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DuoStreak shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the App.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes via in-app announcements or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitute your acceptance of the new terms.
